Cashel King Cormac’s G.A.A. History 1985-2005
This book is a comprehensive account of the history of Cashel King Cormac’s during the club’s most important years. It continues where the story left off in the same author’s G.A.A. History of Cashel and Rosegreen 1884-1984, which was published in 1985.
The highlight of the present volume is the club’s success in winning its first county senior hurling championship in 1991, but it also contains a detailed account of other success in hurling and football, as well as failures, during the period.
The book also relates the contributions made by so many club members to county teams in hurling and football, and their numerous All-Ireland successes.
Some of these were the Bonnar brothers, Cormac, Colm and Conal, who won two senior All-Irelands with Tipperary and well as gaining All-Star Awards, Pat Fitzell and Raymie Ryan.
There is an extensive selection of photographs in the book, with all successful teams included, as well as a wide range of images illustrating players and supporters.
The book is an essential reference for anyone interested in Cashel King Cormac’s hurling and football during the period.
