Lothra agus Doire: Iomáint agus Peil 1884-1984

This book tells the history of the G.A.A. in the parish of Lorrha and Dorrha over one hundred years.

Highlights include accounts of the club’s North Division senior hurling title successes in 1905, 1914, 1924, 1948, 1956, 1966, 1984, 1989, as well as county successes in other grades of hurling and football. Also included are profile of club players who won All-Ireland senior hurling honours with Tipperary, Tom Duffy (1925), Mick Cronin (1930), Liam King (1971), Noel Lane (1971).

It was the first full-length club history to be published in the county and one of the first in the country.
